Are my windows suitable for Perfect Fit blinds?
What you need is UPVC windows with an internal beading. This enables window brackets to be pushed underneath and sit so that the blind frame can be clipped in. The best way to determine whether a window has internal beading, is to look at each corner of the glazed panel. You should see angled joins where the beading is mitred to retain the glazed pane. Our experts can help you with this.
Can you place Perfect Fit blinds on sliding patio doors?
Generally speaking no, however, if it’s a tilt and slide door then a pleated Perfect Fit blind can be fitted but it will have no operating handle and the gap between the frames must be greater than 8 mm.
Can Perfect Fit blinds be fitted to wooden windows?
Perfect fit blinds require a rubber seal between the frame and the glass to allow the brackets to be fitted. Most wooden windows don’t have this, and therefore Perfect Fit blinds cannot be fitted. In this circumstance we’d recommend using an INTU blind as it can be screw-fitted to the window frame.
Are Perfect Fit blinds suitable for my conservatory?
Yes, they’re a very popular fit for conservatories. They’re also excellent as roof blinds. We supply a range of performance fabrics to control heat and light as required, with an excellent finish.
Do Perfect Fit blinds cause condensation?
Perfect Fit blinds don't sit that close to the window because the design of the perfect fit frame doesn't allow it, therefore air can circulate freely, meaning there is no build up of condensation.
Do Perfect Fit blinds damage windows?
As Perfect Fit blinds require a rubber seal between the frame and the glass to allow the brackets to be fitted, there is no risk of your windows being damaged.
Can I fit these blinds to opening windows?
Yes, they are ideal for any size of tilt and turn windows as the tension stops them swinging when operating the windows.
How easy are Perfect Fit Blinds to clean and maintain?
Pretty straightforward. With a Venetian style perfect fit, we recommend using a feather duster which helps to remove dust from the slats. Otherwise a damp cloth and careful application of an anti stain detergent will do the job.
